Laser treatment in dentistry is where a beam of light is pointed at your teeth. The light beam closes off blood vessels and sterilizes the infected area with accuracy. Many patients don’t need anesthesia, and so your visit to the dentist will be fairly short.

Growing in popularity since the ‘60s, lasers are now used in dentistry on a global scale. They provide gentle treatments on the mouth and are great at removing old composite fillings or fumigating an infected root canal. The lasers can also be used for bone shaping, oral surgery or crown lengthening.
